In the future, online gaming may get worse, or it may get better, no one can predict the future, but if it gets better that would be good, it would mean less kids, playing games rather that doing homework or extra curricular activities, as well as less adults playing online games to and spending more time with their family or doing their work. If it were to get worse, there would be a lot more people addicted to online gaming, and not the important things in life, it is assumed that online gaming may turn into a spectator sport. All in all I think if there is going to be a positive change in the technology it would help a lot in the addiction area, and the society would benefit very much from this. But that is not the prediction of same gaming experts, they believe that the online gaming world will only get way bigger, and more harmful, and easier for people to become addicted. And most of us don’t want this to happen but it is likely to.
